Homework
The students will be given homework Monday through Thursday. Homework should take no longer than 40 minutes a night. It needs to be completed neatly in pencil; unless otherwise specified in the directions. The student's name, student's classroom number, and date need to be on top of the paper.
Children are required to read 20 minutes each night and record it on the Monthly Reading Log paper. The Reading Log is due at the end of the month. A parent/guardian is required to sign the Reading Log before turning it in. The completed and signed Reading Log will count as a homework grade for reading.

Classwork and Homework Expectations
1. All work must have the student’s name, number, and the date.
2. The student’s work should be neatly written or typed so it is easy to read.
3. Assignments should be done only in pencil; unless stated differently in the directions.
4. The student should show his/her work for math problems.
5. The student should check over and edit his/her work before handing in the assignment.
6. Remember to always TRY YOUR HARDEST and DO YOUR BEST!!!
